When the kindergarten teacher asked me if I could put together a mural for behind the kids at their kindergarten grad ceremony themed “Stone Soup”, I thought “wouldn’t it be charming if I could build little straw houses for each of them? Wouldn’t the parents think it was so cute?” Needless to say, I’ve spent a lot of hours at the school, I’ve got straw slivers EVERYWHERE, and I’m pretty sure the custodian and I are no longer on speaking terms.
